LAXMI COTSPIN IS PROUD SPONSOR OF COTTON INDIA 2018 IN AURANGABAD(MH)

Laxmi Cotspin was a sponsor at the 2nd Domestic Conference of Cotton Association of India, held in Aurangabad. The theme of the conference was to enhance the brand value of Indian cotton. It was jointly organised by CAI and The Maharashtra Cotton Ginners Association. Our Managing director, Mr. Sanjay Rathi was invited for a panel discussion on HVI testing, classing, standard packaging of bales and CAI standards. He delivered his words of wisdom to a hall full of stakeholders of Cotton industry in India

LAXMI COTSPIN LTD. PARTICIPATES IN INTERNATIONAL YARN EXPO AT SHANGHAI, CHINA.

On the invitation received from Messe Frankfurt and Texprocil, Mumbai, Laxmi Cotspin Limited participated in Intertextile yarn Expo held in Shangai, China from 15th October, 2018 to 17th October, 2018 organized by Messe Frankfurt.

Mr. Sanjay Rathi (MD), Mr. Shrinandan Rathi and Mr. Ankur Baheti visited China for exhibition. Laxmi Cotspin Limited had a booth over there and exhibited their products viz. raw cotton and 100% cotton yarn and gave buyers complete information in detail regarding raw material, types of product, production system, product quality, machinery and technology used etc. We can proudly say we it was a successful participation and received a good response from buyers.

IKEA CMSS INITIATIVE

IKEA announced last week that as of September 2015, all cotton used for its products — from furniture to towels, bedding and other home textiles — comes from more sustainable sources; specifically from farmers that use less water, less chemical fertilizers and pesticides, and are also able to increase their profits. This positions IKEA as the first major retailer to reach this milestone. IKEA says it aims to make more sustainable cotton affordable and accessible, and also to be better for the environment and the people who grow it.
